Its sitting President is [[oko]], whose political goals center on renewed national recruitment initiatives, increased investment in supercapitals, and building a structured national finance and loan system. Cortesia possesses three major cities with active populations: its capital of [[Setra Maria]], its sole trade city of [[Cadia]].

Cortesia Del Mar is an ally of [[Orovika]], and maintains positive or neutral diplomatic relations with most nations on the server. Cortesia Del Mar is distinguished by having the largest industrial base on the server, which it uses primarily to bankroll a wide array of both its own and its allies' building and industrial projects.

Also known as the Period of Porogation, the Orovikan Period, was a time of low activity and slow establishment. In order to truly establish itself, Cortesia joined the nation of [[Orovika]] for security and resources. Orovika would lend ships and material to the fledgling settlement.

On February 5th, the [[Horizon Federation]] would dissolve, ending Cortesia's involvement with the alliance.

Cortesia would declare independence soon after the first segment of Setra Maria was printed. As the February election approached, Yodabird19 and CommradePotatoe would launch the only campaign, automatically becoming the next administration.

As the first active Cabinet came into office, Cortesia would undergo a national revitalization.

On February 5th, the [[Horizon Federation]] would dissolve, ending Cortesia's involvement with the alliance.

Cortesia would declare independence soon after the first segment of Setra Maria was printed. As the February election approached, Yodabird19 and CommradePotatoe would launch the only campaign, automatically becoming the next administration.

|In an attempt to replicate the same process of going up one class at a time with Freighters, a Transport miner was designed and printed, though to date it has seen no use, and is already been rendered obsolete.

|During a cargo run, rendered unable to get away in time due to a bug in the `/route` command, it came under attack by [[z4nityy]], and was sunk. With assistance from [[yodabird19]] the almost complete (though mangled) wreck was salvaged and the ship later reprinted with the same design, designated as ACS.08A Fortune II.
