The war officially began on September 23 at 23:16 UTC, when Zealandia1 of Settler God sieged DeepSpaceSignalGamma, then belonging to Vega. The siege was successful, prompting Solesey of Vega to attempt resieging the station. Upon arriving at the station, Solesey was confronted by Lonestar forces, and elected to abandon the siege to avoid being sunk, as he was outnumbered by Lonestar forces.

After failing to prevent the siege or recapture the siege station, a Vega force consisting of Xijinping_, Sherbet_S, and Solesey in a 4.9k, 1k, and 4k returned to the siege station the following day to attempt to resiege the station. After beginning the siege, the party was attacked by Lonestar forces again, who had assumedly been hired by Zealandia to defend the station. The defending Lonestar fleet was composed of Hextagon in a 12k, eyrzeke in a 4k, Abu42069 in a 2k, SelimPro in a 2k, and Peggle_ in a 1.4k. The Lonestar fleet sunk all Vega ships, losing only 1 2k.

After the second attack, Vega stopped actively engaging at the siege station to regroup and form a plan to take back the station and defeat the defending Lonestar force.

The morning of September 28, Vegan forces recaptured a station that had been captured unprovoked several days before by Imperial Nova.

Vega had at this point elected to establish an alliance with Radiance, who gathered to help recapture the siege station that evening.

Due to the station captured that morning, Vega was not able to capture the siege station, and instead had Radiance pilots capture the station for Radiance, to deny the opposition the station.

Once Radiance forces traveled to the station and began the siege, Vega forces started to gather in Sirius system to help the siege. Vega forces noticed Lonestar forces forming at texas. Assuming this force's purpose was to defend the station, Vega forces attacked a heavy freighter piloted by Byron_Steele in Sirius outside Lioda. The Freighter successfully escaped to a safe zone, but the attack was successful in distracting Lonestar forces from travelling directly to the siege station to counter. The ensuing fight resulted in 1 2k lost from Vega, and 2 2ks lost from Lonestar.

The distraction from the station was successful, and Radiance's siege succeeded.

This event is cited by some Lonestar citizens as proof that Vega instigated the war against Lonestar. Vega maintains that the attack on Vega forces predating this engagement were the start of the war, justifying the attack. It should be noted that both sides only officially declared war publicly after this event.

== Preface ==
Prior to the beginning of the war, A barge piloted by Aerobar200 of The Galactic Empire was attacked by Cerberus federation forces. The attack was alleged to be unprovoked.

Separate accounts allege that Kingsheep3 did not order the barge to be sunk, but was disobeyed by then fleeet members super_tyhma and [[WaspGM]].

Following the barge being sunk, war was formally declared by [[The Galactic Empire (2025)|The Galactic Empire]] and her ally the [[Separatist Alliance]] against the Cerberus Federation on June 28, 2025.

The Cerberus federation offered to compensate TGE for the barge core lost in combat by providing a replacement core.

Problems arose after Cerberus federation was unable to procure a new core. The nation lacked any manufacturing capacity to create their own core, and a barge that the nation had owned for a period had been lost due to a staff dispute over the legitimacy of the barge's true ownership.

After Cerberus was unable to procure a new barge core in a timely manner, negotiations broke down and conflict began.

On July 29, 2025 Kiridanx sunk a Medium Freighter in Trench, the first sink of the war.

=== Horizon Skirmish ===
On August 2, 2025, "U.S.S. Black Reign", a 12k Destroyer piloted by Kiridanx traveled to Horizon, where he was engaged by Cerberan forces, consisting of a Destroyer piloted by MagicMasterRory, and a 2k Gunship piloted by VoidlessPanda. Kiridanx stalled the fight until he reinforced by a 12k piloted by Aerobar200, and 2 500 Gunships piloted by TheGamingBananaV and Gabrielhulk10. The combined ACA forces were able to successfully deal hull damage to the Destroyer, as well as sinking the Gunship. VoidlessPanda was able to redetect the wreck as a 1161 block gunship, which was subsequently sunk by ACA forces.

The Arionites oppressive leader, Emperor Yuyen Hishen, was ousted from power by Gan'lan Hanba VI (Anglicized Olive Burger), the leader of the [[Arion Socialist Party]]. Gan'lan Hanba VI institutionalized a system of democratic leadership. Gan'lan Hanba VII joined the [[Amcaran Social Republic]], bringing Arion into the interplanetary stage for the first time since The Great Flight. Over a period of several hundred years, the Arionites modernized and became deeply ingrained in Amcaran culture.

Due to a lack of majority population, Gan'lan Hanba XV - XIX were all passed over in Amcaran elections. During the leadership of Gan'lan Hanba XIX, [[Amcaran Social Republic|Amcar]] went through a period of dissolution. The majority of Amcaran settlements, including Arion, joined the nation [[Orovika]]. Due the misleadership of Gan'lan Hanba XX, who took over after their predecessor's death during the later periods of the Orovika transition, the leader of the Arion Capitalist Union Tai'feng Zheben assassinated him, splitting Arion and leading to a period of economic inactivity.

During this period, Consue, leader of the [[Anthill]] and the last remaining Amcaran remnant, transferred remaining Amcaran assets to the nation [[Imperial Nova]]. After a period of over a hundred years, Olive Burger the 21st, who had abandoned his traditional name in favor of a modern, internationally recognized one, reunited Arionic sects under a revitalized [[Arion Socialist Party|ASP]]. Under the three-hundred-year leadership of Olive Burger XXI, Arion and the Anthill, along with a few remaining Amcaran settlements, reformed as the nation [[New Amcar]]. New Amcar was largely successful in economy and military, but grew stagnant due to issues with leadership, military, and social disagreements between Anthill's more capitalist system and Arion's more socialist system.

The purpose of this guide is to explain the mechanics surrounding planet entry and exit.

Your position upon entering a planet is determined solely by which side of the sphere in space your ship touches.

Your position on the Y plane does not affect where you appear on the planet, entering near either pole will still only consider your angle to the center of the planet.

=== Exiting ===
Your ship will exit the planet once you make a movement that puts any block of your ship above the build limit of the planet.

Your position in space is determined by your angle to the center of the planet world.

This means that if you are right at the center of the planet, small changes in your position can drastically affect where you exit the planet.

== Combat ==
While combat tagged, you will only be allowed to enter or exit the planet once, then a 2 minute timer will start. Until 2 minutes has passed, you will not be able to enter or exit the planet again.

This does not apply to the NPC Combat tag.

== Trivia ==
Historically, the direction you exited a planet was determined by the direction the player was facing.
