			Construction of the CATACLYSM's blueprint began on the 30th of June 2024 and was accelerated after a conflict between [[Vask Authority]] and a joint [[Arimfea]]-[[Imperial Nova]] fleet on the 16th July 2024, in which the lack of [[Auto Turrets]] left the [[CALAMITY]] (at this time, the same design as the [[ARMAGEDDON]]) vulnerable to boarding or other on-foot attacks, resulting in it being trapped and nearly swarmed were it not for its defending escort, nearly resulting in the loss of the [[CALAMITY]] and sinking of the [[Vask Authority]] flagship, [[Patrick]].

			Construction of the CATACLYSM was completed on the 19th July 2024.

			The CATACLYSM was sunk on the 26th July 2024, just a week after her construction. Her destruction led to [[Vask Authority]] Directors [[FellOffBridge]] and [[z4nityy]] believing that they could no longer fight an alliance as large as the [[Ilios Alliance]] without [[Vega]], and moved to negotiating peace despite the objections of Director [[_Clone1137]].
