			Interceptors are pretty awful for PVE. Since interceptors cannot use hyperdrives or damage targets above 1000 blocks in size, they’re limited entirely to targeting enemy fighters and shuttles. Interceptors can be used for low level PVE in theory, but they’re arguably one of the single worst classes for the role, and you can’t expect very much return on time investment.

			That said, interceptors can very easily eliminate enemy AI fighters. If you just want to use something small to ward off such pests while you’re mining, interceptors could be a viable option.
